Whole Genome Sequencing using Illumina Technology
Abstract:
A short introduction to Illumina’s sequencing technology will be followed by an overview of current system performance.
The main part of the talk will be on the Bioinformatics and resulting data analysis performed on a human trio of Yoruban origin (Nigeria) sequenced to a depth of 30x coverage as well as some initial results on de novo assembly.
