Research Areas
The research activities of the CeBiTec currently belong to the main research areas “Large Scale Genomics and Big Data Bioinformatics”, “Sustainable Biotechnology” and "Microbiome Research". The research projects can be considered as applied biotechnological research projects or do show potential for later application. This research, however, aims to achieve proof-of-principles, but we do not directly develop commercial products and processes.
Research conducted by the current research groups of the CeBiTec is distributed in various ways across the three research areas (click on group initials for further details).
